Overall, females were the group with a higher percentage of proficiency than males. India was the country with more proficient students, whereas China registered the less proportion of students with this achievement.
Romania, India and Vietnam were the countries with higher percentages of students. Romania registered 42% of males and 65% of females. In India 56% of men and 67% of woman possesed a proficiency. Meanwhile, in Vietnam the results were 39% of men and 56% of woman.
By comparison, in China, Thailand and Russia was observed a lower proportion of students with this expertise . China recorded just 15% of males and 32% of females. In Thailand just 32% of men and 27% of women were profi. In Russia was seen that 35% of men and 43% of women achieved this level of knowledge.
