The bar char provides information about the range of jobs managed by either men or women in the UK in the year 2007. Overall, we can see that only Journalism has an equal proportion of both genders. It is also evident that the majority of teachers are female, while the opposite is true for construction.
Looking into details, there was a gap of a whopping 80%, which was the highest difference in the chart, between the rate of males and females, at 10% and 90% respectively, in terms of teaching. However, this figure was completely reversed in construction. Regarding therapists, approximately 18% of males were involved in this job, making the share of females 55% higher.
Turning to other professions, the percentage of male scientists, at 60 %, was a bit higher than that of women (40%), but this figure in journalism saw a same rate stood at 50%. If we look at Advertising, there was also opposite trend with a law. While there was about 35% of men workers in Advertising, which had a difference of 10% with women, the same proportion could be witnessed in female lawyers.
