The given bar chart depicts the daily rates of air pollutants consumption from the lowest to highest in four cities namely, Los Angeles, Calcutta, Beijing, Mexico City. It is obvious that there are four categories which are minimum and maximum SO2, minimum and maximum N2O. Mexico City had the most significant levels, while other regions fluctuated dramatically.
When compared, the trend of the level of minimum SO2 seemed to be different from it of maximum SO2. Both of the figures which peaked the least SO2 were Los Angeles’s, by 2 micrograms in minimum and 10 micrograms in maximum respectively. Meanwhile, those of Mexico City peaked at the most significant points in the four given positions, by 40 times and 20 times higher than Los Angeles’s. Both the remaining categories had the same trend that the level of minimum SO2 was lower than the maximum rate of it, by nearly 50 and 60 micrograms in Calcutta, and a quarter and 100 micrograms in Beijing respectively.
On the other hand, the trends of minimum and maximum N2O in the four regions seemed to be more complex. The minimum and maximum N2O consumed in Mexico City still remained the highest by 113 and 207 micrograms, followed by nearly 40 and above 104 micrograms in Los Angeles respectively. Thus, while the rate of minimum N2O consumed in Calcutta was 30 micrograms, being the third largest category, the level of maximum N2O produced was in that order by 54 micrograms compared to it of Calcutta.
