Overall, Mexico City had the largest amount of SO2 and N2O, while the other 3 cities’ amount of that was significantly lower.
In Mexico city, the minimum and maximum figures for SO2 diverged considerably, with the min being 80 micrograms per m3 and the max being 2.5 times higher. Similarly, the lowest and highest amount of N2O in the city witnessed a notable difference when the highest volume of this air pollutant nearly doubled the lowest one.
There were also noteworthy features for the remaining three cities. Los Angeles was the only city to dominate the amount of N2O, for there were a total amount of just 12 micrograms per m3 of SO2 produced in this city whilst the figure for N2O there was much higher (over 140 micrograms per m3 in aggregate). Meanwhile, both Calcutta and Beijing experienced a difference feature, having the amount of SO2 to be higher than N2O.
