The chart illustrates the average daily minimum and maximum air quality index in 4 different cities in the year 2000. Overall, maximum SO2 and N2O in Mexico City were the largest, while the lowest SO2 quantities were visible in Los Angeles and the least amount of N20 was present in Beijing.
Mexico city was the most polluted city among all the examined petropolices with the maximum SO2 and NO2 index of 200 and 207 micrograms per cubic meter respectively. Moreover, the minimum N2O available in the atmosphere of Mexico City was the largest among all the other examined candidates, while its minimum SO2 was smaller than those of Beijing. Beijing witnessed a maximum and minimum SO2 of 25 and 100 micrograms. However, its N2O statistics were far lower at minimum and maximum amount of 14 and 54 micrograms.
In addition, Calcutta’s minimum SO2 pollutants were 17 micrograms more than those of its N2O pollutants. However, the proportion of its maximum N20 and SO2 were very close to each other and only differed by the tiny margin of 7 micrograms. Additionally, Los Angeles was able to achieve the least amount of SO2 used, with the maximum number of 10 and minimum number of 2 micrograms. The exact opposite scenario happened for N20, which had the minimum average of 39 and climax of 104 micrograms.
