The given bar chart provides a comparison of the average daily hours spent by tourists from China, the USA, Turkey, and Brazil on three recreational activities during holiday in Greece in August 2015.
Overall, reading books and going to the beach were the most time-consuming activities for Chinese and Brazilian tourists, respectively, while visiting places was the least popular choice among all four nationalities.
Examining the distribution of time across activities, Chinese tourists allocated the largest portion of their day to reading, approximately eight hours, while time spent visiting places was minimal, at under one hour. This resulted in a seven-hour range, the largest among all groups. A similar pattern was observed among American visitors, who also prioritized reading with five hours. However, the gap between their most and least preferred activities was smaller, at just two hours.
In contrast, Turkish and Brazilian tourists spent their time evenly in their leisure time. Both groups spent around four hours per day reading books. Nevertheless, Turkish visitors had only a one-hour difference between each activities, whereas Brazilians engaged in visiting for two hours, half of their reading time and a third of their beach time.
