The pie chart shows the percentage of different energy sources used to make electricity in the world every year. Overall, coal is the most used source for electricity, while oil and other sources are used the least. Most of the electricity comes from coal, natural gas, and hydro power.

Coal makes up the biggest part of global electricity production at 39 percent. The second largest energy source is natural gas, which produces 25 percent of the total electricity. Hydro power is also Important, accounting for 20 percent of the energy. Together, these three main sources produce 84 percent of all electricity.

On the other hand, the other energy sources are much smaller. Nuclear energy produces only 6 percent of the total electricity. Oil makes 5 percent, and other energy sources also make 5 percent. In short, fossil fuels like coal and natural gas produce more than half of the world’s electricity, while other sources like nuclear and oil are used very little.
