The line graph illustrates the number of overseas students enrolled in a UK university over a 20-year period from 1995.
Overall, it is clear that the number of Asian and North American students at this university witnessed an upward trend, while the opposite was true for the data of European and African undergraduates. Furthermore, the highest figure can be seen in the number of international students that originated from Asia.
The figure for international undergraduates from Asia and North America experienced a significant rise, but to varying extents. Asian undergraduates at this university saw the most dramatic increase, from just 60 students to 120 between 1995 and 2015. Likewise, with constant enrollment in the initial 5 years, North American students grew significantly to over 69 students 15 years later.
Regarding the figure for African and European students overseas, it is apparent that despite oscillating in a range of approximately 55 to 59 students, the number of international students from Europe remained unchanged over the period. Similarly, the data for African undergraduates overseas reached a plateau of 20 between 1995 and 2005. This figure then escalated minimally to above 22 in 2010 before dropping to just 20 students five years later.
