The presented bar chart illustrates the number of males and females enrolled in six types of sports in Great Britain in 1999. Generally, both genders preferred swimming and cycling.

There is a notable gender gap of 47 people for the male dominant sport of football since it was the least preferred sport of women, standing at roughly 18. Moreover, the number of boys involved in tennis and cycling outnumbered that of girls, amounting to approximately 3 people and 9 people, respectively.

Swimming, rollerblading, and walking (over one hour) were the dominant female sports, where participation was numbered at 52 girls, 29 girls, and 23 girls, respectively. Meanwhile, boys enrolled in the same sports for 48 people, 23 people, and 22 people, respectively.

All in all, both genders prefer swimming and cycling, but boys are born to play football. Nevertheless, tennis, walking, and roller skating were neutral sports for both sexes.
