The bar charts given compare four different details based on the percentage of car manufacturer’s total sales from 2006 to 2010, at one year-intervals.
Looking at the illustration, it is immediately evident that Asia recorded the highest figure throughout the period, whereas the opposite was true for North America. Additionally, most car manufacturer’s total sales surveyed showed an overall dramatic changes, except for Asia.
In 2006, the percentage of Asia, Europe and South America reached the same number at approximately 30%, which was roughly 20% higher than that of North America, which also came in last at 10%. In 2007, the rate of Asia and Europe were slightly increased to 35%, South America was slightly decreased to 24%, compared with North America a mere approximately 5%.
In 2008, the percentage of Europe was raised and dominated the chart at approximately 40%, Asia still keeps numbers at 35%. South America ranked third at 25%, while North America came in last at 4%. In 2009, Asia topped the list, accounting for 40% and reached the highest percentage, followed by Europe at around 35%. South America stood at the third position of 24%, which was higher than North America reached the lowest point at 3%.
In 2010, despite some fluctuations, Asia experienced an exponential growth and reached a peak of around 50% and became the biggest figure in the chart. The figure for Europe declined substantially numbers to stand at 30%; meanwhile North America and South America reached at 12% and 5%, respectively.
