Overall, number of overweight people in all countries has increased dramatically. However, Japan experienced the smallest number of fat people, while the USA wich showed the biggest percentage.

The increasing number of the USA overweight citizens presented the largest percentage in the chart throught three periods. In 1980 fat adults accounted for over 17% wich rose steadly to 20% in 1990. Moreover, the boom was in 2000 as a result, showing the percentage of about 31%. Meanwhile the UK also experienced growth but it was not so big as in America. In 1990 the percentage leaped for about11% wich was 3% bigger than in 1980.

In 1980 Sweden showed the percentage of approximetaly 6% and then grew for about 8% in 1990. In 2000s it showed 11% as Britain in his 1990s. Moreover, Japan had the smalles percentage of fat people. in 1980 it was less than 3% and then it rose for about 4% and finally reaching the percentage of 5% in 2000s.
