Ater that, the proportion declined steadily, reaching about 56% in 2020 and 50% in 2025. Newspaper and Radio followed similar downwards trends. Newspaper use decreased from approximately 54% in 1995 to 49% in 2005 and 43% in 2010, before falling to around 32% in 2020 and 29% in 2025. Similarly, radio useage dropped from about 52% to 24% over the period.
Secondly, the internet experienced a dramatic increase in popularity. In 1995. almost no one accessed news online, and the figure remained very low at around 2% in 2005. However, it rose sharply to approximately 28% in 2020. By 2025, internet use is projected to reach around 56%, making it the most popular source of news.
