The bar chart illustrates the percentage of men and women who cleared the driving test in one Asian country. The chart is divided into four periods.
Overall, the number of women who passed the test outnumbered those of men by significant margin. The growth was almost similar in both sexes, there was some variance, especially in the 2000s when percentage of women who passed the test increased substantially.
With regards to the men who passed the test, there was steady increase in percentage from almost 30% in the year 1990 to closely touching the number 50% in the year 2000. However, in 2010s there was no significant changes and percentage stayed consistent to that of last year.
The percentage of women who passed the exam over 4 decades fluctuated. The trajectory was less consistent rising especially sharply in 2000s, the percentage went from little above 50% in 1990s to almost 70% in 2000s. However, in the year 2010 it the dropped down to nearly 65%.
