Overall, what stands out from the chart is that the population that have capability to work through the years varies between countries. Importantly, in all four countries France, the US, Japan, and Germany the percentage of people who can work had been declining and forecasted to contnue this trend.
The percentage of working age adults in Japan was 65% in 1960. Until the middle 1990s it was increasing. However, the following years the percentage had been steadily dropping by showing 57% in 2015. Additionally, in the future the percentage is forecasted to be litte more than 50%. In Germany on the one other hand working adults were 67% i 1960. In spite of that the percentage had been decreasing until the middle of 1970s. After that, it showed its highes rate in 1995 by showing nearly 70% as well as Japan showed highest point 70% in the same year.
In the France the working adults accounted for 63% in 1960s. Until 2015 it showed constant increasing. In the future, 2050 it is predicted that will show 58%. Importantly, it is higher than both countries, Japan and Germany. In comparison, the US showed stable changes. In 1960 working adults were 60% of the population. Following the years, it was been significantly increasing. Nevertheless, it has started to show steady decline since 2003. However, it is predicted that the US will hold stable 60% from 2035. Despite the fact that it will come the exact percentage that it was in 1960 it will be the highest rate among the give four countries.
