The chart depicts the data regarding the top three manufacturers in terms of different dairy products in the world in 2012.
Overall, the chart highlights the significant differences of the positions in the four examined types of products. Notably, The EU had the largest statistics in milk and cheese production and always appeared in the top three ranks of all aspects.
To commence with the figures for milk and cheese, it is evident that the production of the EU led first in both groups at 142,970 and 7,120 MT, respectively, despite the fixed second and third positions of these fields. In addition, the United States ranked second at 4,925 MT in terms of cheese, while India positioned second at 127,000 MT in milk manufacture. Moreover, instead of the appearance of India in the milk production ranking, it was Brazil in third at 700 MT.
Moving to the data on butter and milk powder, China obviously placed first at 1.200 MT in the top three milk producers and 7.500 MT in the butter sphere. Furthermore, the EU produced 2.040 MT in the number of butter, which was higher than its statistic in milk powder. Meanwhile, New Zealand manufactured more than the EU, at 1.110 and 770 MT, respectively. Compared to other nations’ data on butter, that of the United States was lower, at only 810 MT.
