Overall, the charts clearly shows the most common age range when people enter a marriage was 25 to 39 for both genders. Moreover, the age range from 25-29 was the most ideal age to get married for female. On the other hand, the marriage age for male is usually older than female.
In 1996, the highest amount of females married between the ages of 25-29, at almost 12%. Subsequently, the age group from 30-34, at around 8%. Meanwhile, female in the 20-24 group, which was younger, accounted for 6% of marriages, while the percentages declined sharply for those under the 20-24 group. For males, the amount of marriages in both of 25-29 and 30-34 age groups recorded the same percentages of around 10%, was the highest recorded in 1996. The amount of male marrying later, in the 35-39 and 40-44 age groups, with the numbers of around 8% and 6%.
By 2008, there was a significant increase in the amount of both male and female getting married in the 30-34 age group, with males rising to approximately 12% and females to 8%. In contrast, the percentage of peoples marrying in the group of 20-24 and 16-19, decreased sharply for both genders. Male maintained to marry later, with the highest percentage observed in the 35-39 age group, at almost 12%. On the other hand, the percentage of female in the senior groups remained approximately low.
