The pie chart illustrates the proportion of the users who use social media according to different age groups in Jamestown in 2018.
Overall, the majority of social media users belongs to teenagers and young adults. The lowest percentage comes from elderly generation who are over 55 years old. Therefore, this amount varied between 36 years to 55 years old.
It can be seen that, the largest users of social media were mostly 13 to 25 years old,which was nearly half of the total amount,about 40%. Another age group that contained the same amount as teenagers was 26 to 36 years old, who were basically young adults. About 15% and 8% internet users belong to the adult group, like 36-45 years and 46-55 years old, respectively.
It is also noticeable that, the least number of social media users comes from the elderly group, which was only 2% of the total number.
