The provided pie chart depicts information about the proportion of people online based on their age in a certain town called “Jamestown” in the year 2018.

In general, the highest age group amongst all the age who are active on the internet are between teenagers to the early twenties. On the other hand, people above their mid fourties constitute the lowest proportion of social media users in the period.

In the pie chart, the social media was highly popular amongst the teenagers and people below mid thirties which occupies the percentage of 40% and 35% respectively. However, the adults in their early thirties to mid fourties showed less interest in social media usage which occupies minimal proportion of 15%. Regarding the age group of adults between 46 and 55, the proportion of people online occupied 8%. In terms of the adults above 55years, they were found the least interested in using social media contributing the minimum of 2%.
