In general , Tesco had the largest market share and the highest number of employees, while Morrisons had the most stores but a smaller market share. Asda, Sainsbury’s, and Safeway occupied middle positions in terms of these factors.

More specifically,despite the clear fluctuations in the number of stores and market share, the Morrisons had the highest number of store approximately 750 ,while share of market had the smallest with 6% .
