In general , Tesco had the largest market share and the highest number of employees, while Morrisons had the most stores but a smaller market share. Asda, Sainsbury’s, and Safeway occupied middle positions in terms of these factors.
More specifically,despite the clear fluctuations in the number of stores and market share, the Morrisons had the highest number of store approximately 750 ,while share of market had the smallest with 6% . Asda and Sainsbury’s had the middle number of stores, with 380 and 463, respectively,at the sam time Asda had a 17% share, meanwhile Sainsbury’s held 16.2%. Tesco had the smallest numbers at 119 , Tesco was the leader with 26%, followed closely by others which made up 24.8% of the market.
