The two given pie charts provide information on proportional Government spending on the Arts and Education between 1995 to 2005. The bar chat shows the number of people participating in Arts events in the same period.
Overall, it is obvious that there was a positive correlation between Governments’ spending on the Arts and the number of people participating, except for music events.
Regarding visual arts field which experienced a significant drop from nearly 1/4 of total expenditure in 1995 to just half by 2005. Therefore, the quantity of participants of this area also had a slight decrease with around 50,000 people. By contrast, although music area got a fall over 10 years is still kept its impression with the highest participators from about 120,000 to 150,000 till the 2005.
The proportion of literature spending had a stability during the timeframe leading to a slow increase in number of joiners with about 25,000. In terms of the field which received the most money until the end of period was theater , but it did not attract much people, just was a slow increase.
