Breakfast has the lowest average percentages of the three nutrients (sodium, saturated fat and added sugar) with 14%, 16% and 16%, respectively. However, in lunch, the proportion of these nutrients increased significantly, as the percentages of sodium, saturated fat and added sugar are 29%, 26% and 19%, respectively.
In dinner, sodium is more present than the other nutrients with an average percentage of 43%, compared to 37% for saturated fat and 23% for added sugar. Snacks are low in sodium and saturated fat (14% and 21%, respectively). However, added sugar is highly present in this meal with a percentage of 42%.
