Overall, there are three types of nutrients like sodium, saturated fat and added sugar. As we see for dinner American people consume a lot of sodium and saturated fat, as well as snacks have more sugar.

In the USA people eat plenty of sodium and saturated fat for dinner, it is 43% and 37% respectively. Also they take like a quarter (29% and 26% each) of sodium and fat for lunch. Whereas for snacks people consume 14% of sodium and 21% of saturated fat. In addition, as we see, breakfast is the most healthy meal because they eat very small number of sodium and fat, here the former is 14% and the latter is 16%.

Moreover, a large amount of sugar people consume from snacks, it is a hefty 42%. Beside this for dinner they eat approximately a quarter of sugar.
