Overall, the highest consumption of the three types of nutrients in typical meals is dinner dishes. Snacks have a big amount of nutrients after dinner. In contrast, breakfast foods have the least amount of saturated fat, sodium, and added sugar.
With the total of 93% of nutrients, dinner meals have 43% of sodium which is the biggest portion among the other nutrients, which only have 37 percent of saturated fat and 23 percent of addded sugar respectively. Followed by snacks which have 77% of the nutrients, having added sugar being the biggest nutrient with 42%.
On the other hand, breakfast dishes have the lowest amount of nutrients with 46% in total. These foods have the same portion of saturated fat and added sugar which is 16%. The smallest percentage is sodium by only having 14%.
