The first line chart presents information about the proportion of households who use electrical appliances over a 99-year period between 1920 and 2019, while the second line graph illustrates information about the number of hours of housework which spent by houseold per week over the same years.
Overall, it can be clearly seen that there were a significant upward trend in the proportion of people who used all three kind of electrical items. Another interesting point is that there was a significant downward trend in the number of hours of housework per week, per household.
with regard to the first chart, the percentage of house holds who use refrigerator and vacuum cleaner started at about 1% and 30%, respectively, and then the figures increased dramatically to 100% and 90% ,in turn in 1980.Subsequently the figures remained stable at 100% between 2000 and 2019. As for the proprtion of users who use washing machine, have begun at 40%, the figure were fluctuated slighltly before reaching its peak at just above 70% in the final year.
If we look at the second chart, the number of hours of housework that people spent per week started at 50 hours per week, at which point it decreased significantly, reaching 10 hours per week in 2019.
