The first line graph presents data on people’s preferences for electrical appliances from 1920 to 2019, while the second line graph illustrates information about the time spent on chores per week between 1920 and 2019.

Overall, it can be seen that the rate of ownership of electrical appliances has increased over the period, while the number of hours for peek gradually decreased over the period.

Moving on to a more detailed analysis the percentage of refrigerators, vacuum cleaners and washing machines began at nearly 0, 30 and 40 in 1920, respectively. The rate of refrigerators had an upsurge in 1940, which rose from just above 0 to over 50, while the percentage of ownership for vacuum cleaners gradually increased, from 30 to 50. In contrast, the percentage of washing machines experienced a quick fall in 1960, which fell from 70 to 60.

On the other hand, the number of hours spent on chores for per week remarkably declined over the period. It began at at 50. the figures fell to 35 in 1940.
