Overall,women spent considerably more time on household activities than men , particuallry on shopping ,clothing washing , cooking ,and washing up, In contrast , men spent slightly more time on leisure activities such as watching TV , listening to the radio and exercising.
Regarding household activities , women spent around 40 minutes per day on shopping and clthing washing , compared with only about 5 minutes for men. Women also devoted approximately 60 minutes to cooking and washing up , which was considerbly higher than the figure of men , st sround 40 minutes . However , men spent more time fixing and repairing , at approximately 40 minutes , while women spent only about 20 minutes i this activity.
As for leisure activities , watching TV , listening to the radio and videos accounted for the largest amount of time for both genders .
