The charts compare the number of people who attended in education and science, also displays the amount of spent on two different sector in developing and industrialised countries between 1980 and 1990.
It is clear that the number of people participated in industrialised country higher than those who attented in developing coutry. By contrast, the highest amount of money spent on science and research in developed country while the amout was lower for developing country in the given years.
In terms of participation in average years of schooling, the figure for developed country was higher in the 10-year period which was just over 8 in 1980, and it rose to more than 16 in 1990. While this figure for developing country nearly remained same in the following years. The number of people participated in scientists and technicians per 1000 people in developed country increased dramatically from above 40 in 1980 to about at 70 in 1990, While the figure started at nearly 10 in 1980 and close to 20 in 1990 in developing country.
For the remaining expenditure, in developing country experienced a slight decline from approximately $40 billion to around $ 25 billion in 1980 and 1990. On the other hand, the figure rose dramatically around at $ 360 billion in the same time period.
