The charts illustrate whether the five age brackets are continuing their education for career or for interest, and the amount of help they were provided by their employers.
Overall, there is a decreasing motivation to study for career as the students’ age progresses whereas more people went to school for interest as they got older. Meanwhile, it is recorded that companies aid younger people more compared to their older counterparts.
In detail, a majority of students below 40 years old continue their education for their jobs. Furthermore, the numbers have an equal proportion for those in the older group of 40-49-year-olds at 40%. However, an inversely proportional trend can be observed for the oldest group as they preferred studying for their personal advantage at 70%, which is triple the figure for career.
As for work organizations, most of them favor lending time and financial assistance to the younger class at under three quarters of the proportion while those aged 30-39 received the least support at a little over 30%.
