The first picture illustrates the quantity of people from Japan who decided to travel for tourism in other countries in a decade starting from 1985, and the second image indicates the percentage of these tourists who visited Australia. Overall the charts shows that the number of japanese tourists tripled in that decade, from 5 to nearly 15 million of people, and the percentage of japaneses in Australia started at 2 percent in 1985 and arrived to 6 percent after 9 years.
Starting at 1985 in the following 5 years the amount of Japan travellers significantly increased from 5 to nearly 11 million, parallelly the percentage of these tourists who visited Australia improved from 2 to over 5 percent in the same period of time, with a small decline in 1989.
From 1990 and 1991 the millions of travellers irrilevantly drecreased, after that the number increased even more arriving at the highest value of 15 million in 1995. During this time the percentage of Japanese in Australia increased exponentially until obtaining a peak of over 6 percent in 1993, and a slighty decreased the next year, arriving at the value of 6 percent.
