The bar chart provides data on the figure of registered road cars in utilization in a European nation in 1996 and 2006.
Overall, the number of private cars and other types categories rose from year to year, whereas, the figures for the other two types showed reduction and the proportion of bus remained stable.
If we look at private cars and other types categories, we can see that the figure of the former climber considerably from only 19 millions in 1996 to 24 millions in the second year. Similarly, the number in the other types showed a little growth of 0.7 millions (from 1.2 millions to 1.9 millions) over the period.
The trends of the other three categories provided, however, were a far cry. The figure for lorries section demonstrated a negligible decline from 0.5 millions in 1996 to 0.4 in 2006. Similarly, the number for motocycles category showed a reduction throughout the period from a million in the former year to 0.6 million in the latter year. However, the number for bus section showed a similar rate in two year, 0.1 million.
