In terms of food purchases, Country 1 witnessed a moderate growth, increasing from 10% in 1998 to just 40% in 2008. Similarly, the figure for Country 2 experienced an increase, with more consumption from around 25% to around 30%. Country 3 in 1998 was lower at around 5% and doubled in 2008.
For goods consumption, there was a significant rise in Country 1 from around 18% to nearly 60%. Country 2 also shared the same trend with Country 1, from around 30% to around 50%. Besides, the figure for Country 3, which had the lowest percentage of customers, then increased significantly by over three times to over 15%.
