Overall, it is clear that females are more likely to get married at an yearly ages, while men prioritize period between 25 and 39 years old. Noticeably, as they got older after 25-29 years old, the figure has decreased gradually.
Regarding to young females aged 16-19, its proportion decreased slightly from about 1% to 0.5%, while men did not tend to get married at this age. As for 20-24 males, the figure accounted for just above 2% and decreased to above 2% at the end, whereas the range for females also declined from 6% to about 3%. Additionally, the leading women’s’ age in both years – 25-29, its proportion remained stable, while the figure for men decreased from approximately 9% to 8%.
Being more specific, the percentage of men aged 30-34 accounted for 9% and rose to about 11%, whereas females’ share was around 7% and increased to 8% as well. In terms of 35-39 years old, the figure for males and females accounted for nearly 7% and 4%, respectively, as well as their figures increased to 9% and 4.5%. Lastly, males aged 40-44 were more likely to get married, and its proportion climbed from approximately 5% to just above 6%. Meanwhile, the sharp for females increased by nearly 0.5 percentage points from 2%.
