Overall, modern language was the most popular course in 1985. However, the apprarent of IT class has pass modern language to become the major class this year. Remarkably, the percentage of student enrolling in art, modern language and music decline, while the reserve was true for IT and cookery.
In 1985, 24% of students took part in modern language involving and made up the largest part of the total students. Following that was the percentage of students studying fitness and dance and art with the figure being slightly lower, at 22% and 17%. Furthermore, cookery and local history attracted 15% and 14% of students, while music appreciation just account for a fraction with 8%.
In this year, there is an addition of IT course which overtakes modern language to become the most popular class, attracting 27% students. In addition, the percentage of student choosing modern language and art class show downward trend to 17% and 15%, respectively. In contrast, cookery has its proportion of students increases to 19%, while the figure for fitness and dance stay unchanged, and local history class is removed from the center.
