The supplied pie charts demonstrate the number of participants course choices on an adult education centre in the periods of 1985 and this year The units are given in percentage.

Overall it,can be seen that in the past, the course of modern languages dominated the most alongside with the lessons of fitness and dance. However over the years the modern languages experienced downfall,and it was replaced partially with IT courses.

In 1985 the Modern languages was the most popular choice of students at 24%. However it has been overtaken by IT which is currently 27% of all enrollments (replacing Music appreciation and Local history).Cookery also experienced a growth beginning from 14% up to 19%.

The percentage of participants taking Fitness and Dance has remained unchanged at exactly 22%. In contrast the interest in Modern languages dropped dramatically from 24% to 17%. Similarly,Art saw a minor decrease in 2% over the period.Furthermore the courses of Music appreciation and Local history was removed and replaced by the new IT curriculum.
