The activity that most adults spent time on was working in 1958 and 2008, accounting for 33% and 42%, respectively. On the other hand, sleeping came second to working with a percentage of 32% in the first year, whereas it decreased by 7% (25%) in the second year. Additionally, people’s interest in going out declined over the fifty years, with a proportion of 19% in 1958 and 6% in 2008.
