The pie charts compare how the share of total expensing per person in a country changed from 1990 to 2010.
Overall, household goods had the largest proportion on both graph, and housing and entertainment were also responsible for a considerable amount. In contrast, the share of electricity/gas was the least significant.
In the first year, the expense of household goods stood at 265, and despite decreasing to 23% in 2010, it was the highest amount in both years. Additionally, housing initially had 17%, and experienced a small increase of 0.5 in 2010, while the figure for entertainment rose from 15% to 18% in the end. In 1990, food expense was 14%, however, decreased by nearly 3%, while similarly, the figure for transport declined to approximately 11% from 12.5% in 2010.
In both years, the lowest spending amount was electricity and gas (two percent), witnessing no change. This was followed by health spending percentage which nearly doubled in 2010, rising from 4.7% to 8.7%. Clothing which originally made up 8%, also, undergone a negligible rise of 0.7% after 2 decades.
