Overall, it is clear that a significant number of regions used water for argicultural purpose. Following this, industrial use takes the second place among water consuption, meanwhile domestic use showed the lowest rate.
The industrial apply of water takes a paramount role in North America and Europe, accounting for 48 and 53%, following with areas as South East Africa and South America, which depicted 12 and 10%, respectively. The lowest level of consuming water for industrial aim showed Africa and Central Asia , constituting only 7 and 5%.
Central Asia and Africa took leading positions at employing water for agricultural use, making up 88 and 84%. Whereas, South East Africa and South America consume 81 and 71% of their water for agriculturing. North America and Europe represented the lowest figure of water consuming for agricultural use, constituting only 39 and 32%.
South America and Europe used 19 – 15% of water for domestic purpose, whilst North America and Africa showed 9%, correspondingly. The data of exploiting water for domestic use in Central Asia and South East Africa showed equally number, making up 7%.
