The pie charts give us information about how much water was used percentagewise for various purposes in six areas worldwide.
Overall, in all six areas except for North America and Europe percentage of water for agricultural use made the biggest part of the charts. While in North America and Europe wayer was mostly used for industrial use. Domes use of water made smallest part of charts in 3 areas, while in other 3 areas industrial use contributed the least.
In Africa, Central Asia, South East Asia largest amount of water was used for Agricultural purposes,which was 84%,88%,81%, respectively. Water usage for industrial use was 7% and 5 % in Africa and Central Asia, respectively. Which were the lowest percentage for these two regions. While in South East Asia water least amount of water was used for domestic purposes, being only 7%.
Industrial usage of water was the largest segment of the for North America and Europe, which was 48% and 53% respectively. 23% and 15% water was used for domestic use in North America and Europe, which was the smallest segment is these 2 region. On the other hand, water was used mostly for agricultural use in South America, which was 71%, while only 19% was for industries, which was the least amount.
