It is clearly seen that, while other regions are mainly focused on agricultural purposes, North America and Europe hold a vast percentage of water usage for industry.
Water being used on industry in North America is 48%, meaning 38% and 41% more than South America and Africa, respectively. In comparison, Africa has the largest statistics on agriculture by 84% which is 13% greater than South America. Rates for domestic use are quite identical in North and South America with only 6% difference.
The statistics show that highest rates of agricultural use are being held by Central Asia and South East Asia with 88% and 81% respectively, however, Europe has low percentage for the same purpose. Another noticeable trend is that Central and South East Asia share the exact same percentage of 7% for domestic purposes.
