The pie charts provide information about the rate of water used for different purposes like industrial use, agricultural use and domestic use, in six areas of the world.
Overall, the biggest industrial use was in Europe and the least in Central Asia. For agricultural use, Central Asia had the biggest segment and Europe had the smallest segment. Lastly, domestic use of water had the largest part in South America and the least part in Central Asia.
Percantage of water used in North America for industrial, agricultural and domestic use were 48%, 39% and 13%, respectively. In South America water used for industrial, agricultural and domestic use were 10%, 71% and 19%, respectively. In Europe water used for industrial, agricultural and domestic use were 53%, 32% and 15%, respectively. In Africa water used for industrial, agricultural and domestic use were 7%, 84% and 9%, respectively. In Central Asia water used for industrial, agricultural and domestic use were 5%, 88% and 7%, respectively. In South America water used for industrial, agricultural and domestic use were 12%, 81% and 7%, respectively.
