These pie charts illustrate percentages of water usage in six regions for different purposes. The highest percentages of using water belong to Central Asia and North America has the lowest percentage of using water for agriculture. Moreover, for domestic usage, South America has the highest proportion of usage water and South East Asia has the lowest proportion. In addition, using water for industrial purposes in Europe has the highest proportion and in Central Asia has the least.
In the comparison of the pie charts, we can see that Europe with 53% of the percentage has the most water consumption and North America with 48% of the proportion is in second place for industrial use. While, South East Asia, and South America, have a bit lower proportion of consumption, with 12% and 10%, respectively. Also, the lowest proportions belong to Africa with 7% and Central Asia with 5%.
In addition, we can see the utilization of water in Agriculture has the highest proportion in most countries, the first one is Central Asia with 88%, the next one is Africa with 84% and a little lower with 81% for South East Asia and the last one is South America with 71%. On the other hand, in countries like North America and Europe, quantities are, 39% and 32%, respectively.
Moreover, exploited water in the domestic part of South America is the highest proportion with 19%, and for Europe and North America are,15% and 13%, separately. However, this value for Africa is 9% and for Central Asia and South East Asia are the lowest amount with 7%.
