In this charts show the percentages of categories of automobiles sold in United States in the selected year. There are four decades that depict the amount of percentage with different types of vehicles.
In the 1980 period, there are only two vehicles in USA, Cars and Trucks. The cars has a huge percentage at this decade that reached for mor than 90 percentage. I the other hand, trucks has just 5% which considered really few percentage.
In 1990 year, there is a new vehicle in the list, this vehicle is called SUVs. It is less than 10 percentage. Cars still are the most amount of automobiles in United States. In the first decade of 21th century, cars almost reached to half amounts of all vehicles. In addition, SUVs have a clear increased in the field. They reached to the one-third of the group.
Cars in 2010 reached to the peaked of their percentage which is more than 50 %. However, SUVs vehicles have slightly inclined only 2 percentage compared with 2000 year. Trucks 2010 are very similar to 1990 period, they just reduced 1 %.
Overall, the chart shows three different types of vehicles in United States in specific period of time. These automobiles called cars, truck and SUVs. Cars have always the most amount of percentage and trucks are the lowest and finally the SUVs are between cars and trucks
