Overall, car usage remained the most popular mode of transport which sold throughout these years, while trucks were the least sold. Although, trucks and SUVs sales shows the gradual increase.
In 1980, the overall sales of cars was 95% while 5% of them was occupy by trucks. After a decade the cars sales were decreased to 79% while trucks saled increased by 10%. The SUVs also shares 6% of the total sales. The cars sales significantly reduced in the year 2000 making it 54% of the overall sales whereas SUVs sales boosted and they got 30% of the overall sales. The truck sales remained stable at 15%. In the year 2010, a minor increase in sales of cars can be seen from 54% to 58%. Trucks and SUVs sales droped to 14% and 28%.
