Overall, the proportion of both individuals who used rented apartments and hotels increased. However, the reverse was true for people who preferred camping and staying with family. Moreover, proportion of people who stayed with family stood out among others with consistently higher figures in each year,despite a decline in the final year.
Focusing on the increases first, rented apartment users started at 7% in 1988. Proportion of them increased dramatically, made up 11% in 1998. Interestingly, this surprise accounted for 22% in the final year. Hotels users began at 15% in the first year, with following a slight rise to 22% in 1998. However, the proportion of people who used hotels leveled off in the next year. When it comes to declines, proportion of people who preferred staying with family started at 52% in 1988, although percentage of them increased marginally to 54% in 1998, they saw a considerable drop to 44% in 2008. Starting at 26% in 1988, proportion of camping users faced a double decline, which made up 13% in 1998 and 12% in 2008.
