In 1998, Electronic goods accounted for the largest expenditure, and there was just 4 percentage points between spending on electronic goods 16% and spending on clothing 12%. Spending on holidays and eating out were at around 8% and 6% respectively. Moreover, the figures of magazines/newspaper and going to the cinema were the same about 3%, in that order.

By 2008, the percentages had changed dramatically. The difference between 2 figures was decreased at around 5%.
