The given charts give a breakdown of the types of energy used to produce electricity in four countries in 2020.
Overall, France became the leader in nuclear producers while hydropower was used the most in Finland. In addition, fossil fuel had the lowest usage level of different sources of energy, with the exception of Finland.
In France, 87% of the source of electricity generated was nuclear which ranked first compared to other surveyed countries. The USA recorded a similar level of nuclear producers to India, with 50% and 45% respectively. The electricity generated by nuclear was non-existent in Finland.
The lowest nuclear producers in Finland corresponded with the highest usage level of electricity by hydropower which stood at 63%. Half of India’s share was hydropower which by the total percentage of nuclear power and fossil fuel in that country. The electricity generated by hydropower in the USA and France accounted for 38% and 13% respectively.
Being at 37%, Finland was again using fossil fuels to produce electricity far more than other countries. Fossil fuels generated in the USA almost twice as much as India, whereas this figure in France did not exist.
