The charts illustrate the amount of energy sources consumed in the UK and USA between 2000 and 2006.
Overall, oil was the most favorable energy in the USA in both two years while people in the UK preferred using coal in 2000 and gas in 2006 rather than other types. Additionally, the most alteration in both countries was seen in the amount of gas consumption.
Regarding oil use, in 2000, the USA consumed around 37% ,which was higher than 38% of that in the UK before seeing a similar growth of 2% in 2006. Besides, the amount of gas used in the UK and USA in 2000 was 20% and 15% respectively, which is two times lower than that in 2006. Likewise, in 2000 people in the UK and USA used a big amount of coal with a respective figure of 30% and 35% while the percentage of coal that the USA people consumed in 2006 was two times greater than in the UK.
In contrast, there was 15% of nuclear use in the UK and 10% of that in the USA ,which dropped slightly to 8% and 7% respectively after six years.Moreover, other sources seemed to be less favorable with the form of energy in the UK being higher than in the USA, which was around two times.
