The given pie charts illustrate proportion of daily intake of different nutrients such as sodium, saturated fat, and added sugar consumed in each meals and snacks by average individual in USA. This nutrients may be considered unhealthy if, it is eaten in excess amount.
In general, intake of sodium during dinner accounted at the highest shares in USA. Meanwhile, saturated fat and added sugar shows the similar percentage for breakfast. Likewise, snacks depicts the largest proportion intake in terms of added sugar.
Initially, the USA refugees like to consume more amount of sodium during dinner as it shows the highest percentage at 43%. Followed by, 29% for lunch and 14% for breakfast and snacks respectively. In contrast, the percentage of daily intake of saturated fat occupied at 37% by the USA citizens during their dinner time. During the time of lunch and breakfast the percentage of saturated fat in individuals daily intake accounted at 26% and 21% respectively. However, at breakfast time it shows the least percentage at only 16%. Regarding added sugar, snacks time shows the largest shares at 42%. Whereas, the USA peoples don’t like to eat much added sugar in their dinner time as its percentage occupied at only 23% which is considered as the half of the snack time. For, lunch and breakfast the added sugar shows some similarity as their percentage is accounted at 19% and 16% respectively.
