The two tables below compare the inrormation about the amount of exports moving through Rotterdam port in Holland to various global destinations in 2002 and 2012; and also percent rates of tax imposed on these exports by the receiving countries.
Overall, the most noticeable growth in export to Asian Pacific and Australasia. Also, Europe, Asian Pacific and Australasia had changes in the proportion of tax imposed.
The first table perpesents the data about the quantity of export in millions of tons. Some countries experienced the downward trend after 10 years; export of USA decrease from 4200 to 3900 millions of tons, Europe from 6900 to 6400. However, the biggest changes in this group is in Australasia and Asia Pacific, where export climbed from 800 to 2550 and from 700 to 2300 respectively.
The second table provides the information about percentage of tax imposed. Interesting increase in tax of China that rised from 0% to 2% and became are equal with USA tax imposed, which decline from 3% to 2%. European tax imposed growth from 5% to 8% that show the highest increase among given countries. Opposite result are displayed by Australasia and Asia Pacific that dropped by 3%.
