In general, reading for leisure was popular for those aged 55+, while spending the least time on this activity was the youngest group. As for listening to music, the aged 15-24 spent the largest time for this pastime, while the group 35-44 dedicated the lowest time for this kind of activity.
In terms of reading for leisure, people of group 55+ spent about 70 minutes per day, the highest of all groups surveyed, followed by the 45-54 and 35-44 age groups, with respectively figure about 50 and 45 minutes per day. The team of 25-34 aged used approximately 35 minutes, which was 15 minutes every day more than data of 15-24 aged.
Regarding listening to music, the highest column was 15-24 aged with 80 minutes per day, which was higher than the amount of time people of 55+ spend on reading. The following figures were for 55+ communities that had about 75 minutes each day, then next to was 25-34 and 45-54 groups experiencing the same amount of time, 60 minutes per day. The lowest number of this entertainment type was 45 minutes a day listening to music.
